Description

Musco Center for the Arts was conceived with one driving purpose: empowering Chapman University students and faculty to reach the highest levels of achievement in fine arts education, production, and performance. Covering 88,142 breathtaking square feet, Musco Center for the Arts provides a state-of-the-art venue for students to hone their talents, discover their voices and visions, and prepare for rich and rewarding lives in the arts. Designed by renowned architects Pfeiffer Partners, with acoustics by world renowned Yasuhisa Toyota of Nagata Acoustics, Musco Center boasts an intimate seating chamber with 1,044 seats on three levels, a multipurpose Proscenium-style theater hall, rehearsal space, associated performer and support space and storage, administrative offices and a multilevel lobby. Land Mark Electric provided Theatrical and House Lighting and Controls, Fire Life Safety systems, as well as site and exterior building lighting.
